      Thanks for reaching out! The Ask the Vet virtual events are designed for both cats and dogs! We welcome questions from cat breeders as well. Since it’s a live event, we don’t know what questions will be asked until it’s happening. In fact, in the May 2021 Ask the Vet event, Dr. Greer had several questions asked about Savannah cats.       Canine herpesvirus or canine herpes is a systemic, often fatal disease of puppies caused by canine herpesvirus (CHV). CHV is seen most commonly in Asia and Europe in dogs, coyotes, and wolves.
      Once they have the virus, its for life. It can be controlled. In our Learning Center we have articles on both Canine Herpesvirus and Feline Herpesvirus. -Sheryl, Pet Care Pro at Revival
