It’s recommended that we don’t kiss our pet, let them lick around our face or mouth during this time, my understanding is to prevent infection due to a another new mutation of this virus…. if the virus mutates and becomes infectious to our pets as well as us, it would be horrible. If we don’t allow them to lick our face, wash our hands after touching them, we’re taking a step to stop such a mutation, before it spreds….nobody wants to be ground zero for a new mutation!
