Deb’s Discovery of CBD Oil

Pooh, a 24-year-old calico cat, used to suffer from up to 20 seizures a day, arthritis and several other health problems. “She basically spent the day sleeping and when she wasn’t sleeping she was having a seizure. It was very sad and hard to see her like that,” says Deb, Pooh’s owner.

After Pooh began having multiple seizures a day, Deb began to research the benefits of CBD oil on pets. “I looked up information on CBD oil for cats. I use CBD oil myself and it has helped me immensely, and so I thought I would give it a try. I figured what did I have to lose!” Deb recalls.

“CBD oil is still new and research on how it impacts conditions like seizures, allergies and old age is limited, but the feedback I hear from many customers regarding their experiences with CBD oil is very promising. As with any health product, I always suggest it’s best to consult with your veterinarian before trying something new,” says Marilyn, a Revival Pet Care Pro.

After giving Pooh the same amount of CBD oil every day for three weeks, she noticed an amazing thing happened. “Pooh began walking around and eating again. She plays. She now goes days without having a single seizure. Her beautiful green eyes are clear and bright. Her fur is fluffy, and she grooms herself again. It’s like she’s a totally different cat. I am amazed at how well it worked!” says Deb.

But Pooh wasn’t the only one of Deb’s cats to experience a remarkable turnaround. Catniss Everdude, a 10-year-old male who suffered from allergies and sinus congestion, found relief after using CBD oil. “I began giving him some CBD oil daily and his symptoms have gotten so much better. His eyes are clear, he has more energy to play and it’s really helped him stay healthier,” Deb says.

Deb formerly worked in a vet’s office and as a nurse in a doctor’s office. She now lives on a farm and has set up her own cat rehabilitation facility using her medical and veterinary knowledge. “I’ve rehabilitated cats for years. I currently have twelve I’m caring for. Some came from very bad conditions,” she says. She’s even built a catio for her feline friends. “It’s a safe place they can relax, heal and live their life in a safe environment,” she adds.

Since experiencing first-hand how CBD oil has helped her pets, Deb is a believer in the benefits of CBD oil for cats. “For anyone who is considering trying CBD oil with their pet, I would tell them to try it. You want to always talk with your vet first before starting on CBD oil, but I am convinced it changed the lives of Pooh and Catniss and I hope their story of success can help other pets,” Deb adds.

  1. CBD oil helps our Golden Retriever who is afraid of thunder storms – we give her a dropper of it – and she is fine.

  2. This is great and realize CDB is in the early stages, but is there a list of any studies/research where it helped dogs with other health issues? If so where can one find a list of conditions it helped so it can be discussed with my vet? Although the problem in my area is they are much behind the times and found out on my own that there are many supplements out there that help but not prescribed by vets since they are not medications. Would be great if that list is out there and where.

  3. I’ve used CBD by ElleVet with our 16 year old shihtzu Leon and he thrived on it. Occasionally he had a seizure anyway and then I gave him a tiny bit of dust from a Gabapentin capsule and he never had a seizure again!
